ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Mobile Planner at Norton Gold Fields, you are responsible for the long-term and short-term planning for servicing and repairs to the HME fleet and associated support equipment. Ensure that all parts are on hand to meet plan compliance. Ordering of parts as required. Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify hazards, damages, and defects.
- Develop and distribute weekly/monthly maintenance plans to ensure organized workflow.
- Ensure compliance with planned maintenance schedules and servicing requirements.
- Enter all maintenance activities into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Regularly inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Manage the allocation of parts to work orders efficiently and responsibly.
- Review work tasks and identify opportunities for process enhancement.
- Maintain open communication with direct supervisor and team members.
ABOUT YOU
- At least 2 years of Planner experience or similar. (Essential)
- Trade qualified with AUR30999 Certificate III in Automotive mechanical or comes from a mechanical background. (Essential)
- Previous experience with CMMS, ideally AMT, Excel, Pronto or similar ERP software (Essential).
- Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class “C” Driver’s Licence (Essential).
- Strong commitment to safety and team player.
- Good understanding of the following machines:
- CAT 777F, 789D , 775F Trucks
- CAT 16M, 18M Graders
- CAT D10T Dozers
- Hitachi EX1900 , EX2600 , EX3600 Excavators
- Komatsu PC1250 Excavators
