Graduate IT Administrator

RESIDENTIAL LOCATION: Kalgoorlie

WORK SITE: Binduli (site-based)

ROSTER: 5:2 day shift only – 9hrs (Please note this role is Residential, not FIFO)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Graduate IT Administrator at Norton Gold Fields, you are responsible for providing support to the IT Administrators who are overseeing and maintaining all aspects of the company’s computer infrastructure.

  • Provide friendly, prompt IT support to staff across the business, logging and triaging all issues through the ticketing system and escalating where needed.
  • Set up new computers and hardware, maintain the asset register, and manage the decommissioning and disposal of equipment.
  • Assist with procurement of hardware, software licences and third-party service agreements, including review and processing of IT-related invoices.
  • Support IT project work and contribute improvement ideas to help the team deliver better outcomes across the business.
  • Assist with training users, managing mobile devices and ensuring all software and registers are kept current and accurate.
  • Travel to sites as required to provide hands-on IT support, working closely with IT Administrators in a customer-focused, professional manner.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class Driver’s “C-A” or “C” class licence (Essential).
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field (Essential).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Clear and professional communicator with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • A proactive team player who is adaptable, calm under pressure and eager to learn.
