WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an IT administrator at Norton Gold Fields, you are expected to oversee and maintain all aspects of a company’s computer infrastructure, networks, servers, software, hardware and systems through liaising with ICT service providers.
- Manage the helpdesk ticket system, providing timely support for troubleshooting, workstation setup, software installation and routine maintenance.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, backup systems and the M365 environment, ensuring security, reliability and up-to-date records.
- Manage ICT assets including phones, printers, ACS and software licences, coordinating procurement and renewals as required.
- Troubleshoot basic network and server issues, escalating to the Network or System Administrator where needed.
- Coordinate ICT projects assigned by the IT Team Lead, integrating resources efficiently to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
- Work collaboratively across the IT and administration teams, maintaining a customer-focused approach, positive office culture and strict confidentiality at all times.
ABOUT YOU
- Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class Driver’s “C-A” or “C” class licence (Essential).
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in IT systems and network administration within a business environment (Essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft technologies including Windows, Office 365, SQL Server and database administration (Essential).
- Basic network troubleshooting skills; CCNA preferred, with familiarity in VMware vSphere, Horizon and SAN environments (Desirable).
- Mining industry experience (Desirable).
- Strong communicator and analytical thinker who is self-motivated, organised and works well with minimal supervision.
