ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Underground Service Crew, you will provide safe ventilation, air, and water supply, dewatering and paste reticulation support to enable mine development and production crews to achieve their targets.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with Underground Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator for equipment handovers.
- Execute tasks following mine plan instructions, profiles designs, and ground support patterns.
- Operate underground equipment and light vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication, including hand signals, and adhere to safety protocols in confined environments.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Underground Service Crew Operator (essential)
- Current unrestricted “C” Class WA Manual Drivers Licence (essential)
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge of underground machinery (essential)
- Current Western Australian DGSC (essential)
- Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Underground Metalliferous Mining Certificate II, III or IV (desirable)
